Ref. 14863A GIANT mosaic designed and made by children at a Trowbridge School is to be proudly displayed in the entrance hall.
Youngsters at Parochial School worked with artist Anita Andrew to create the work of art, which they have named Jamboree.
Head teacher Jane Evans said: "It is lovely and it is something the children have done themselves.
"It was great for them to be able to work with a real artist and they enjoyed it."
Eight Year 5 pupils, aged nine and 10, worked together to produce the mosaic.
The opportunity came from the Participatory Arts Workshop scheme run by West Wiltshire District Council.
The scheme gives children the chance to work with professional artists and offers a variety of different sessions.
The mosaic workshop is just one of many events going on at the school.
The children have school trips to look forward to, with Years 5 and 6 visiting the Mendip Study Centre near Frome as part of their project on rivers.
Parents have not been left out and are invited to attend an Easter Bunny bingo evening with their children just before the school holidays.
