Three crunch games in the next eight days will determine whether Cirencester can make the transition from promotion certainties to genuine title challengers.
That is the opinion of Centurions manager Brian Hughes.
A 2-0 win over Yate on Tuesday night elevated Ciren to an all-time high second in the Western Division, seven points behind Redditch with two games in hand.
The visit of Halesowen tomorrow marks the start of a crucial week in Ciren's season and Hughes will only admit his troops are in with a chance of silverware if they come through unscathed.
"We're reaching the stage of the season where they are all big games," said Hughes.
"We've got Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield and Gloucester in the next three games and what we do in those three will determine what we can achieve this season."
Halesowen arrive at the Corinium Stadium in fifth place and with a new manager following the appointment of Solihull chief Paul Holleran.
Ciren were beaten 2-1 in the reverse fixture in January and Hughes aims to address the balance.
He said: "Halesowen away was one of the games we got beat in that we did not perform. We're not the sort of team that makes a big thing about revenge but it would be nice to set the record straight."
Winger Ben Fitch is back in contention after missing the Yate win through illness so long-term injury victim Andy Minturn is the only Ciren absentee.
MARK COLLIER takes charge of Supermarine for the first time since his permanent appointment when the South Marston side travel to Bedworth.
Marine have had a fortnight off following their 2-1 win over Stourport Collier's sole match as caretaker boss.
He said: "It would have been nice to have had a game straight after the Stourport victory to keep the momentum going," said Collier, who has yet to appoint an assistant. "But the break has given some of the players the chance to get over injuries."
Time off has given Steve Davies the chance to recover from concussion and Barrie Matthews has shaken off an ankle problem, while Nathan Edwards' loan from Chippenham has also been extended for another month.
