The friends of Swindon Arts Centre has raised more than £34,000 since it was formed two years ago.
Of this more than £20,000 was used to replace theatre seats and redecorate the auditorium.
The group continues to look for new members. Membership costs £12 a year and brings several advantages.
These include early booking facilities, up to 30 per cent discount on many events in the week leading up to the performance, discounts to all Arts Centre films and three newsletters a year.
