SOME enchanting evening ... as, so beautifully expressed in song to engender a warm ambience that gives immeasurable joy and lifts the spirit to imprint an unforgettable memory ... demands expression through the power of the written word.
On Sunday March 7, an exceptionally talented and dramatic group of stars and their brilliant accompanist descended on the Hilton Hotel and embraced us all with an evening of pure enchantment to The Sound of Music.
Our heartfelt thanks are extended to the Mayor and Mayoress of Swindon for giving us an evening of cultural splendour, equally to the stalwart support team and Derek and Pam who gave their time and expertise to ensure that everything was alright on the night.
This auspicious event was in aid of the Prospect Hospice and the Women's Refuge two highly regarded and essential organisations that are absolutely pivotal to the caring, trust and reassurance in our community.
Everyone contributed wholeheartedly to create some enchanting evening.
Now that we have found it, we must not let you go.
