LOCAL charities are being invited to apply for money raised by the GWR FM Community Trust.
In the past the trust has distributed cash after its Christmas fund-raising campaign but has now decided to donate grants throughout the year.
Non-profit organisations can apply for grants of between £75 and £1,000.
Funding for long-term projects that need a commitment of one to three years is also available up to £10,000 a year.
Jackie Kent, trust manager said: "Our fundraising has been so successful that we can now support more good causes.
"The trust aims benefit the inhabitants of the station's official transmission area."
The trust has a range of events planned to fill its coffers.
Last year, grants totalling £60,000 were made to different groups and projects throughout Swindon and the county.
The next deadline for grant applications is May 13, with grants awarded in June.
