Chippenham Town played out their now customary 0-0 draw with Dover Athletic on Saturday.
The two sides have now met four times since the Bluebirds' promotion to the Dr Martens Premier Division and Martin Paul's solitary strike in last season's away fixture remains the only occasion either defence has been breached.
Scott Walker came closest to breaking the boredom in farcically windy weather at Hardenhuish.
The wing-back rattled an indirect set-piece against the foot of a Dover post after half an hour.
With the wind in their favour in the first half, Chippenham dominated but failed to test Dover keeper Paul Hyde who limped his way through the first 45 minutes after an early clattering from Wayne Thorne.
The hosts managed to create more chances playing into the second-half gale.
James Constable set up Charlie Griffin who attempted to go round substitute goalkeeper Dave Wietecha but got the ball stuck under his feet. The loose ball was worked wide to Walker and his wicked cross was thumped into the side-netting by Martin Paul.
Constable failed to convert another Walker centre and Tom Gould missed the best opening of the game at the death.
The centre half was unable to convert from a yard following Walker's near-post corner.
CHIPPENHAM: Hervin, Green, Walker, Towler, Gould, Charity, Horgan, Constable, Griffin, Paul, Thorne. Subs: Allison, Badman, Herring, Robertson, Wilmot.
