CHILDREN jumped with joy following the delivery of a bouncy castle bought with money raised by an extreme sports group.
The sports group called PEST Purton Extreme Sports Team raised more than £3,000 for a new bouncy castle for the village charity, Purton Helping Hand.
Keith Taylor, a member of PEST, said: "The children really seem to be enjoying the bouncy castle. We had a great time raising the money and we are now planning to raise some more for a new slide in the village."
Keith and the 13 members of the team fundraised with events such as a pram race through the village, which involved members of the group dressing up and propelling prams around a three-mile route, taking in the village's six pubs.
A tug of war was also organised to boost the total to £3,000.
The group is involved in a number of sports.
Not all are extreme, although later this year nerves will be tested as several of them head for Devon to have a go at coasteering which involves jumping off high cliffs into the sea.
