A 40-page glossy guide to Swindon is available for visitors to the town.
A selection of international-standard hotels, elegant country houses and family-run guesthouses are listed in the guide.
It includes colour photographs of Swindon's hotels, attractions and scenery, plus a detailed map of the town centre.
A special events listing shows an impressive range of things to do throughout the year, including themed days at Steam, the Museum of the Great Western Railway; Swindon's famous street festival; open air concerts in Old Town and the Shakespeare in the Park, the annual Lydiard Park celebration of the Bard.
A detailed section on the nightlife in Swindon gives full details of the town's range of nightclubs and restaurants. The guide also shows how the town is ideally placed to visit a number of stately homes, historic sites and nearby family attractions.
Jan Leard, Swindon Information Centre manager, said: "Swindon has so many things to offer, from culture and shopping to sports, leisure and the countryside. The new guide is a great way to get to know the town and surrounding areas and to discover the huge range of attractions that we have on our doorstep and nearby."
The new Swindon Visitor Guide is available from the Information Centre in Regent Street and all key information points and public buildings in Swindon.
