DIVISION 4 leaders CJ Electrical missed out on the chance to win the championship when they lost 2-0 at home to Highworth Swindon Fencing.
It could happen next week when they travel to Jovial Monk. Behind them Red Lion won 3-2 at Queensfield with John Mcdonough knocking in a double for the losers.
In Division 1, goals from Dave Jones and Jan Walega gave SKS Blyskawica a 2-1 victory at Carriers Arms, whose goalscorer was Darren Woodfield.
Swindon West Indians won 5-1 at Division 2 bottom club Dynamo Ashton. Gary Pike netted for the losers who unfortunately only had eight players.
Alanbrooke won their first match for a while when they defeated Plough Highworth 2-1 with goals from Arnie Kitchener and James Toomey.
In Division 3, Coleshill moved off the bottom and up three places after their 3-0 win at Mallard. Graham Little, Tom Fila and Pete Soane all netted.
Prince of Wales joined Rat Trap back at the top of Division 5 after their 7-2 crushing of Halcrow. A Mark Botting double, one apiece for Chris Williams and Stuart Marriott and a Steve Richardson hat-trick saw them home with Tim Hughes and Barry Dickens replying for Halcrow.
In Division 7 the only completed fixture ended in a victory for fourth-placed GTS, who won 2-0 at third-placed Queenstown, thanks to goals from Liam Gooch and Wayne Wheatley.
