ANOTHER year has slipped by and the London marathon 2004 is upon us and once again I am looking for sponsors to help my association through another difficult year giving financial and moral help to veterans who fought the Japanese in Burma and the Far East.
In last year's marathon the association raised £6,000, of which £700 was raised by the local branch. This was a magnificent sum, which we would like to improve on this year.
Once again I am honoured to say the Army Athletic Association submitted 13 names of soldiers who are prepared to run on our behalf.
