DAREDEVILS braved the dizzy heights of Salisbury College on Saturday, to try their hand at the hair-raising zip slide.
Wannabe stunt artists were helping to raise money for NCH, the children's charity, by getting sponsored to whizz down a 140m-long cable stretched across the Southampton Road campus.
Money collected from the event, which was supervised by Avalon Adventure, will go towards the charity's family centre at Bemerton Heath and a number of after-school clubs across the city.
Charity mascot Cedric the Dragon provided some much-needed encouragement for all those whose nerves threatened to get the better of them during the windy event.
