THE police are seeking witnesses after more than £13,000 worth of motor vehicles and tools were stolen from three farms in Sherston last week.
Farms at Sopworth Road were targeted by burglars overnight on March 16 during a 12-hour period.
In a raid on one farm burglars made off with a tipper lorry valued at £4,000 and an Ifor Williams trailer worth £1,000 and hand tools worth £200.
Near that location another farm had a red Honda TR8 4540 quad bike registration Y896 KCF stolen valued at £3,500 and a blue and white Suzuki DR 350 sports bike, registration H565 HLD, valued at £1,000.
Around £3,000 of tools were also stolen after the burglars used a flat bladed instrument to force the side door of a small vehicle workshop.
Another farm had a red Kawasaki ATAV 21510, worth £2,300, stolen.
Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen anything suspicious in the area between 8pm on March16 and 8pm on March17. Contact PC Conner on (01666) 822222.
