Pictures by SARAH WILLIAMS.SALISBURY'S Emily Cooke scored two tries in the England women's rugby team's 53-3 win over Wales at The Stoop Memorial Ground, setting up a tantalising Six Nations decider against France on Saturday.
Cooke told Journal Sport about the victory against Wales and her hopes for the weekend: "The first half was easier because we had the wind in our favour. It got tougher in the second half as we had to run the ball out in a gale force wind.
"The crowd on Saturday was the best we have had yet but it's a very militant rugby stronghold in Bourg-en-Bresse. French crowds are always very hostile and they make a lot of noise."
Former Bishop Wordsworth's pupil Richard Hill will take his place in the men's side at the Stade de France, after playing in the 31-21 win over their Welsh counterparts.
