FORMER pupils of Steeple Ashton School near Trowbridge are invited to a celebration.
The school closes at the end of April this year and to mark its 150 years the governors have organised a display and party.
There will be a display of memorabilia and photographs at the school on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm. Refreshments and children's entertainment will be available. The afternoon event is free.
Between 7pm and 10.30pm there will be a party with a live Irish band, ploughman's supper and a bar.
Tickets for the party cost £1.50 and must be purchased in advance due to limited numbers.
Sarah Content, the school's chair of governors, said: "All are welcome to join us at the school throughout the day.
"We'd particularly like to meet people who may have been associated with the school in past decades, whether as a pupil or parent or teacher.
"We very much look forward to having the opportunity to relive and enjoy the wonderful history and important part the school has played in the village of Steeple Ashton over many years."
To buy a ticket for the party call the school office on (01380) 870493 between 9am and 3pm.
The final end of term church service is at St Mary's Church, Steeple Ashton, on April 1 at 2pm.
