NICOLA Breach is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for the British Heart Foundation in memory of her grandfather, former Devizes mayor Dick Breach, who died of a heart attack two years ago, by running the Flora London Marathon next week.
Miss Breach, 29, hopes to better the time she had three years ago when she ran in aid of the William Budd Cancer Ward at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, in memory of her uncle, Steve Breach, who died after a long battle with skin cancer.
She said: "I did an official time of four hours and one minute, but I really want to get it down to three hours 50 minutes, which is the time my dad, Paul Breach, ran it in 2002."
Sponsorship forms can be obtained at Devizes Town Hall in St John's Street and Kennet District Council offices on Bath Road.
