WEST Wiltshire MP Andrew Murrison has been working to help the vulnerable and disadvantaged.
Dr Murrison put on a pair of goggles to simulate sight problems to experience the difficulties faced by those who are visually impaired.
He completed an obstacle course as part of the launch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association's A-Z guide to street obstacles, including overhanging hedges and wheelie bins.
Dr Murrison has also joined the fight to protect the elderly from cold callers who knock on the door and offer to buy possessions.
Speaking in the House of Commons on Friday the Conservative MP said: "Cold-calling salesmen and door-to-door antiques dealers are generally not welcomed.
"No doubt many are honest but a significant number prey on the elderly and vulnerable."
On Monday he turned his attention to people recovering from brain injuries with a visit to Headway in Bath, which treats people from across west Wiltshire.
