THE family and friends of stabbing victim Paul Rodgers are preparing to host the second annual pool tournament in his memory.
Pool players from across west Wiltshire will join together to enter the two-day tournament, due to be held at Terry's Nitespot, Trowbridge, on April 3 and 4.
Coming the month before the second anniversary of the former England pool player's death, his family use the event to raise money for his four children.
Sister Margaret Joyce, who is arranging prizes for a raffle, said the event gave them strength.
"Everything we do on those two days is for Paul's children. The pool lads don't forget him, she said."
Mr Rodgers, 32, was stabbed to death in Broadcloth Lane by former care worker Leigh Page in May, 2002. Page was sentenced to four years for manslaughter last May. He could be released in a matter of weeks.
