I AM one of a group of volunteers researching the history of Even Swindon from when the area was three farms to today. The project is run by the National Monuments Record Centre and co-ordinated by Jane Golding.
We have collated a lot of information from the usual sources, but we would love to hear from Rodbourne's past and present residents who may have photos of when they were young, memories or photos of their parents getting married at St Augustine's or Rodbourne Methodist Church, relatives that may have run businesses there or information about the history of their house.
Anyone with information should contact National Monument Record Centre on 01793 414797. May 8 is the start of National History month, there will be a display at Jennings Street Community Centre.
