Calne 2nd made a triumphant return, beating Sutton Benger 33-12 in their first game in three years.
The team, comprising mainly of new recruits, were supplemented by a hand full of veterans and the 1st team captain and vice captain.
Benger's experienced pack controlled the early set pieces while Calne's young backs had the better of their streetwise counterparts.
Calne went ahead when Charlwood, playing on the wing, scored neatly in the corner. Wilson converted.
They went further ahead when new recruit Vince Treen shrugged off two tacklers and scored between the posts. Wilson added the conversion.
Benger hit back with a try after the restart, and soon added an unconverted try.
Halfway into the half Benger started to tire. Treen picked up a second try from another impressive run. Wilson picked up the extra two points.
Charlwood went over for another try and veteran Rob Bell's final try was again converted by Wilson.
