JOHN Fisher insists there is no chance of his Highworth side taking their foot off the pedal even though Hellenic Premier Division honours are beyond them this season.
Town are caught in a mid-table no-man's land with no chance of challenging the top or being dragged into the relegation mire as the season enters its final weeks.
But Fisher is determined to press on, starting with tonight's trip to North Leigh (7.30pm) who have also had their title aspirations blown away.
He said: "We want to get our consistency back and we're playing North Leigh we always want to beat them.
"It's not going to affect positions, but nearly all our future games could affect the title or relegation situation.
"It's not a question of seeing the season out.''
North Leigh twice league winners in recent years have also seen their campaign peter out.
Highworth make a change in goal as Elliott Jackson is unavailable because of work commitments, so Mark Turner steps up into the goalkeeper's jersey.
Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Fairford could climb into the top seven with victory over Bicester.
And Wootton Bassett's bid to avoid the drop takes them to Henley (7.45pm).
In Division One West, Malmesbury Vics host Cirencester United.
HIGHWORTH Town are running their annual six-a-side tournament again in June and are inviting more teams to join in the fun.
The tournament is open to junior teams aged from under six to under 14 and will take place on June 19/20.
Forms can be obtained from organiser Fraser Haines on 01793 861109. Cost per team is £17.
