AMBASSADORS, the Salisbury business networking club, welcomed Diane Williams from A Balancing Cat to one of its March meetings.
Ms Williams, from Salisbury, talked about her concierge and business support company, set up to alleviate the pressure in people's lives.
It will take care of small and large projects, from piles of ironing to mountains of paperwork, and can help at home with a range of DIY and repair work, planning a party or organising a weekend.
In business, it offers support from simple filing to marketing and customer service.
Public relations expert Jackie Neylon will be the speaker at Ambassadors' business breakfast tomorrow at the Grasmere House Hotel, in Harnham.
Ms Neylon was marketing director of Nuffield Hospitals before setting up her own consultancy in 1996.
She says she feels very strongly that many companies, large and small, waste money unnecessarily in their promotional activities.
"The fact is that 90 per cent of companies do not maximise the opportunities for free publicity and many could reduce their advertising spending dramatically, yet maintain and probably enhance public awareness of their product or services, if they used the PR opportunities properly," she says.
