SALISBURY Rugby Club have just two games remaining to ensure they escape relegation from South West Two (East) of the Powergen League.
Currently third from bottom of the table, level on 12 points from 20 games with Wimborne, the Castle Road-based club know their destiny is still in their own hands.
On Saturday they entertain mid-table Marlow followed by a trip to basement boys High Wycombe.
Salisbury's Nick Trinaman stressed the importance of the role the club's supporters can play in their bid to avoid the drop.
The experienced flanker has appealed for their followers to turn out for the final home game and spur them on to what would be a crucial victory.
"Only the players know the lift our band of loyal supporters gives us.
"If they can see us through this Saturday and then somehow get to High Wycombe the following week, I vow the players will give 110-per cent in our efforts to win and avoid relegation."
A good-sized crowd is already expected as the club stages its final Vice Presidents Lunch of the season prior to the 3pm kick off.
Although Salisbury's friendly with Andover was cancelled last week, the first team were still put through their paces in training by club coach John Kimberley.
