A WANBOROUGH firm has scooped gold in a national awards ceremony.

Telemarketing business HSM was voted top in the best use of technology in selling category of this year's national sales Awards.

The firm created the Miele Partner Support System.

Abingdon-based Miele, which manufactures washing machines, used the system to set in motion a highly effective sales strategy.

Les Marshall, the sales and marketing director of Miele Professional, said: "I have yet to find a working system as efficient and effective as the bespoke solution HSM has created for us.

"It has given us a high advantage over our competitors.

"Because HSM understands our business it was able to address our needs from a blank sheet to create a programme that has proved invaluable."

HSM, established more than 15 years ago, has a string of clients including Vodafone, Bupa, BMW, and 20th Century Fox.
