Drivers who use the M4 have been invited to comment on how to improve the motorway.
The Highways Agency is currently drawing up a management strategy, which will cover the 63 miles of the motorway from junction 1, at Chiswick, to junction 15, at Swindon.
A consultation has already been launched on the draft Route Management Strategy for the motorway, which is part of the Government's 10-year plan for transport.
The agency wants comments from the public on the proposals to reduce accidents along the route and tackle congestion at junctions.
Highways Agency regional manager Paul Harwood said: "We welcome comments to help us plan the future of the M4."
Send your comments to Paul Harwood, Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SZ by June 13 2004.
Small displays showing the main points of the strategy are on show at various motorway service stations along the M4, including Membury Welcome Break and Moto Services, at Chieveley. Or visit www.highways.gov.uk/roads/projects/motorways.
