RUGBY World Cup winner Richard Hill will be at the heart of the celebrations in Salisbury's Market Square next week when the Webb Ellis Cup wings into the city as part of the nationwide Sweet Chariot Tour.
Hill, one of the lynch-pins of England's cup final success against Australia last November, will be the special guest at an official reception being hosted at the Guildhall by the Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Bobbie Chettleburgh.
More than 2,000 people are expected to descend on the city centre to see the cup accompanied by the RFU roadshow which will feature interactive games and the opportunity for visitors to have their photograph taken with the famous trophy.
The Sweet Chariot exhibition will be open from 10am-4pm with the cup due to arrive in the Market Square at 11.45am.
It will then be taken to Blandford for the next leg of the tour.
