SHAW under 11s clinched the West Division championship with two games to spare following a 4-1 home win over Marlborough.

The prolific Dominic Rekowski scored twice and there were further goals from Kristopher Redford and Henry Traas.

Ferndale Rodbourne Tigers' narrow 2-1 victory over nearest rivals Wroughton means that they are also assured of runners-up spot.

In the Central Division, Brunel Boys moved up into second spot after a convincing 8-3 home win over Greenmeadow.

Daniel Frankham led the way with four goals, Ryan Stanners hit two and there was one a piece for Jordan Williams and Michael Malekides.

Stratton Juniors Orange secured runners-up position in the North Division, courtesy of a 5-1 home win over Cricklade Youth.

Under 16s

STRATTON Juniors went fifth in the table after a comprehensive 10-2 victory over Fairford.

Matt Horsell hit four, Sam Willard netted a hat-trick and Dale Fulton, Danny Wilton and Shaun Finney also scored.

Hat-tricks was also the order of the day in the Subsidiary Cup Group A match at Wootton Bassett, where Tom James and Jamie Riddett both scored three times for the home side, Malmesbury managing just two in reply.

In Group B, Shaw A had a comfortable 11-1 win over Sherbourne Harriers.

Under 15s

LIDEN Community consolidated second place with a comfortable 6-1 win over Ferndale Rodbourne.

Having completed their league fixtures they must now sit and wait to see if Shaw win their final two games against Stratton Juniors and Wootton Bassett Town to deny them runners-up position.

In the Subsidiary Cup, Wootton Bassett Town moved a step closer to the knockout stages with a 9-2 win over Robins. The goals were scored by Tom Walkley (3), Dominic Musto (3), Danny Dhillon and Dan Lewis.

Under 14s Division One

CROFT Juniors moved up one place after a 2-0 home win over Ferndale Rodbourne, Lee Robins and Ben Castillo scoring.

In the Subsidiary Cup Group B, Wootton Bassett Town, finally won a game for the first time since September 21 when they defeated Wroughton on Friday night.

A powerful left-foot strike from Phillip Forster put Bassett in front at the break and a second-half penalty from Phillip Tearle, after the same player had been upended in the box, put Bassett two up.

A late strike from Jonny May made for a few nervous moments, and Bassett keeper Sean Toomey was forced into a great save with his feet in the last minute but the Bassett defence held out.
