CORSHAM'S rookies matched the achievement of the first team by reaching a cup final.
They won their Wiltshire County Youth Cup semi-final at Corsham's Southbank on Sunday with goals from Liam Phillimore and Scott Lye.
Now Brian Bartlett's team will face arch-rivals Bemerton Heath Harlequins in the final at the County Ground, Swindon on April 28.
Corsham had a dream start when a mix-up in the Calne defence allowed Phillimore to sidestep the Calne keeper and open the scoring in the second minute.
Calne recovered their composure and took the game to the home side.
Corsham keeper Richard Humphries made a superb save diving low to his left from a powerful header by Yan Klukowski.
The home side had the chance to give themselves breathing space when Chris Andrews was fouled in the box but Jamie Lyons blazed the spot-kick high and wide.
But Corsham wrapped up the game ten minutes from the end when Andrews' fierce shot was parried by the Calne keeper only as far as Lye, who netted from close range.
Corsham: Richard Humphries, James Ford, Rob Stephens, Jack Nicholas, Jon Bartlett, Liam Phillimore, Liam Fullam, Scott Lye, Luke Denham (sub Liam Ralph), Chris Andrews (sub Chris Harrison), Jamie Lyons. Subs (not used): Liam Worsley, Matt Ralph.
