Ref. 29720-12A SWINDON opticians launched its new premises in Regent Street by holding a fun day.
A street team from Specsavers, including an Ali G lookalike, were handing out leaflets, helium balloons and Specsavers bugs.
Practice manager Jackie Molesworth said: "The fun day was a great success and the shop was really busy with children, teenagers and adults all interested."
Staff also entered into the spirit by wearing a range of crazy contact lenses, including whiteout, red-hot, zebra print and zoom lenses.
To get crazy lenses you must have an up to date sight test and see an optician. They are available to buy monthly costing £25 or yearly at £75.
The new premises has given Specsavers more room for new high-tech equipment, a bigger dedicated contact lenses department and a customer lift for disabled access.
