CHIPPENHAM NEWS: YOUNGSTERS in Chippenham will be able to brush up their skills on a mobile skatepark during the Easter holidays.
Equipment, including a launch, quarter pipe, spine and a grind box will be set up at St Paul's Church Hall car park from Monday until Thursday next week.
Four churches from north Chippenham have planned the event as part of a series of activities under the banner God 4 U.
The skatepark will be fully supervised and will be open free of charge from 10.30am to 3.30pm. All under 18s will need signed parental consent and over 18s may be asked for proof of age.
Consent forms can be picked up from Ottakers bookshop, The Bridge Centre or can be downloaded from the website www.god4u.org.uk
God 4 U team member Karin Needham said: "Youngsters in Chippenham have been without a skatepark for a long time now and, although the plans for a permanent skatepark are progressing, we thought it would be great to offer this leisure opportunity for the young people in Chippenham over the Easter holidays."
