CHIPPENHAM NEWS: A TEAM of Corsham students became car salesmen and women last week as part of their A-level assessment.
Corsham School sixth formers took part in role plays at Amethyst Honda, Chippenham to demonstrate they had grasped the finer points of car dealing.
The teenagers, who are taking a vocational A-level in business, have been studying the art of selling throughout the term and this week they got to put their knowledge to the test.
The school's head of economics and business Eddie Simms said: "The students have learnt that selling is about carefully matching and meeting customer needs.
"Honda have provided a tremendous opportunity. With- out their support students could not complete this important examination work."
Amethyst Honda general manager Simon Bees said: "We have enjoyed this project. It gives our sales staff a chance to reflect on and improve their skills while helping local students."
