FORMER Arsenal midfielder Russell Milton is giving West Wiltshire youngsters a chance of improving their skills the Premiership way.

Milton enjoyed a seven-year spell at Highbury between the ages of 14 to 21, which included a handful of first team appearances.

He then moved played in Japan and Hong Kong, where he played alongside former Brazilian captain Socrates, before moving back to England and playing for Cheltenham Town.

He was part of Cheltenham's rise from the Conference to Division Two and then joined Dr Martens Premier League side Bath City this summer.

Milton has kept in touch with the coaches he knew at Highbury and has set up his soccer school in conjunction with the premiership club. He will be running courses between Cheltenham and Bath.

He will also be running advanced courses for the players who stand out on these days and from these will select a squad to play at Highbury against other advanced teams from Arsenal soccer schools in different areas in the McDonald's Cup.
