BRADFORD Town manager Mark Hodkinson believes it is a three horse race for the third spot this season after watching his side win 3-0 at home to Malmesbury Vics Reserves on Saturday.
With AFC Stratton and Trowbridge Town battling it out for the title, Hodkinson believes it is between Westbury United Reserves, Biddestone Town and his side for third position.
Hodkinson admits earlier in the season he was not expecting to be in contention for the third place finish.
He said: "We had a terrible start and I have to admit I thought we were right out of it. I think everyone did. We have managed to claw ourselves right back into it and have got as good a chance as anyone else to do it.
"We finished fourth last year and it would be good to emulate that."
Goals from Robbie Simmons, debutant John Scott and Mark Gerrish secured the points on Saturday although Hodkinson was not delighted with the performance.
"It is results that count at this stage of the season not performances," he said. "We played okay on Saturday but we are capable of far better.
"I haven't changed the squad a lot this season but a lot of the youngsters have just come on that bit after a year's experience at this level."
