CHILDREN raised £250 for improvements to a school playground during a talent show on Thursday.
Pupils from Codford Primary School organised and took part in the show after being challenged by teachers to hold a fundraising event.
Debi Downing, headteacher, said: "The evening was not simply a case of the children singing a few songs and collecting cash. They organised the venue, tickets, refreshments and acts then invited residents, families and two judges from the Woolstore Theatre to watch their show.
