SCORES of west and north Wiltshire motorcyclists will ride from Trowbridge to Bristol this weekend to deliver Easter eggs to sick children.
Kind-hearted bikers will congregate at Arc carwash, in Bradley Road on Saturday to transport a mass of chocolate eggs to young patients at Bristol Children's Hospital.
Biker Nick Wynne, 30, who was killed in a motorbike crash two years ago, started the event in 2001.
Girlfriend Teresa Peel decided to keep the tradition going after his death with 60 bikers delivering 400 eggs to children last year.
Mr Wynne, a father-of-five, died after his bike left the road in Hammond Way, Hilperton, in June 2002.
Miss Peel said scores of eggs had already been collected with The Black Swan pub running a raffle to purchase even more.
"The first year it was only 15 to 20 bikes but the event has grown so much since then," she said.
"A lot of Nick's friends are ringing to find out if we were holding the event again this year.
"I feel like I have to organise the run in Nick's memory.
"A few of us will be allowed to go on the wards to deliver the eggs to the children."
Anyone can take part in the Easter egg run with bikers, motorists and cyclists urged to meet at the Arc carwash at 10am, with the procession starting an hour later.
