STEVE White has added three new faces to his Chippenham Town squad ahead of tomorrow's huge Dr Martens Premier Division derby against local rivals Bath City (3pm).

White has landed goalkeeper Ken Scrivens from Paulton Rovers as backup to regular no 1 Mark Hervin.

And St Lucian World Cup ace Rene Regis plus former Bristol Rovers academy youngster Lee Davidson have also come in.

Utility man Regis, 30, part of the Caribbean island's squad for the 2002 World Cup qualifying campaign, was snapped up after moving to the area to work at the army base at nearby Hullavington.

Ironically Davidson has been playing in Bath's youth set-up before being spotted by White.

Swindon Town legend White said: "Ken has come in just in case Mark gets an injury and I like the look of the other two players.

"They can both play in a number of positions and I'm looking forward to them fitting in.''

Chippenham are buoyant after last weekend's stunning 1-0 win at title-cashing Weymouth.

But although White heaped praise on his troops, he has warned them it is irrelevant when they host their neighbours, with whom he was assistant to Paul Bodin for two years, tomorrow.

"That result gave us a massive shot in the arm, but we had played well in the last two weeks,'' he said.

"We outplayed Crawley, but paid the price for not finishing our chances but against Weymouth we deserved the win.

"But that's all history and we have to look to the future. The next game is always important and, although we will respect them, there is no reason to fear them.''

Chippenham, four places and four points clear of their third-from-bottom rivals have a doubt over midfielder Mark Badman, who has hamstring and calf problems.

The match is an all-ticket affair.
