SALISBURY City striker Leigh Phillips was never far from the action on Saturday.
He scored City's goal with a stunning header, but later found himself on the wrong end of a penalty decision that cost his side all three points.
Phillips is adamant the spot kick that gave Tonbridge an injury timequaliser should not have been given.
Phillips, in his own box defending a last minute corner, went to ground amid frantic scenes as City attempted to scramble the ball to safety. "I sort of curled myself up because I knew the Tonbridge players were going to get in there and kick it," said the popular City striker.
"The next thing I know there's all this cheering all around me and the ref's given a penalty, which was a disgrace. I couldn't believe it."
Goalkeeper Kevin Sawyer backed up his colleague's claims: "The ref was just spinning around and with all their players crowding around him, I think he just bottled it and gave the penalty. It was never a penalty.
"If it was a blatant penalty we'd have said yes - fair enough. But with it being a bit of a dubious penalty, the lads are all a bit down."
