VILLAGERS and their children turned out for a grand Easter egg hunt and prize draw at the Star Inn in Hullavington last weekend and raised £215 for the Lydia Cross Appeal.
Licensees Jo and Jackie Berry arranged the weekend of events and dozens of families turned up to hunt for numbered eggs around the village.
"We wanted to do something for Lydia and lots of people turned out to take part," said Jo.
"During Friday we had people going around the village looking for numbered clues written on eggs and the team that got the most clues then raced back to the pub.
"However, it turned out that the hunt was a draw between two teams, so we gave them both an Easter egg as a prize.
"My five-month-old grandson Tom Wallace won one of the biggest eggs in the draw.
"Because he is a little young to enjoy chocolate, we put the egg back in and auctioned it off, raising another £10 to our total."
