THE Drove Veterinary Hospital's Pewsey surgery, formerly Holden and Reader, has moved into the centre of the village.

The practice, formerly at Belmont House on the Milton Road for many years, has relocated to River Street.

A spokeswoman for the practice said: "We are now open in the heart of the village centre for consultations, pet food and a wide range of animal products."

Under its original name of Holden and Reader the practice was run by Stuart Holden and Tony Reader.

Drove Veterinary Hospital, based in Swindon, took over the two Holden and Reader practices at Marlborough and Pewsey about two years ago.

Mr Reader continues as a consultant with the practice together with vet Stephanie Glowka. The two receptionists at the Pewsey practice are Stephanie Prewer and Lisa Smith.
