Volunteers are being sought to help clean up Abberd Brook and the River Marden to create a more pleasant environment.
The Calne Community Area Partnership is aiming to make the town and surrounding villages a litter free environment.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the corner of Somerfields car park near to Doctors Pond at 10am on May 8.
The event is being sponsored by Calne Town Council, Deceunick Limited, North Wiltshire District Council, Somerfield Stores, Westlea Housing Association and Wiltshire County Council.
Wiltshire County councillor Nancy Bryant, chair of Calne Community Area Partnership said: "This will be a tremendous opportunity for the whole community to pull together for a brighter cleaner Calne."
All equipment will be provided along with free refreshments.
