TICKETS are still available for a fundraising talk in aid of Coleshill's new community shop.
Landscape designer Isabelle Van Groeningen, who is involved in the project, will talk about recent trends in continental garden design. Residents of the village near Highworth were left with nowhere to buy essential goods when their village store closed after 200 years in 2003.
Now they have got together to open a community store in Carpenters Yard.
The property was given over by the National Trust, which owns most of the village.
Staffed by residents, the shop will also feature a gallery and caf, and is due to open on May 22.
The lecture takes place between 10am and 2pm at the Wrag Barn Country Club, Highworth, on April 20.
Tickets are £25, which includes lunch, and can be reserved by calling 01793 861992.
