DURING March one of the last Harrier Jump Jet Squadrons of the Fleet Air Arm was disbanded and at the same time it was announced that HMS Ark Royal was to be put into mothballs.
With another aircraft carrier undergoing a lengthy refit this only leaves one in actual service.

If this Labour government continue with defence cuts at the present rate we will be unable to defend the Falkland Islands from another Argentine attack.
It would seem that the aim of the government is to defend our islands with old service personnel from the second world war using the bow and arrow.
