MOTO, which runs the M4 service stations near Chippenham, provides the most parent friendly motorway stops in Britain, a baby charity has found.

The company scoped the title in the Best Motorway Services or Restaurant category of the Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards, which were presented in London last Wednesday.

The annual awards are voted for by the public and are given to businesses and organisations that have done the most to make themselves accessible to parents with babies and toddlers.

More than half a million people voted in the poll to put Moto ahead of other contenders Welcome Break and Little Chef.

Moto managing director Tim Moss said: "We are absolutely delighted to have won this award.

"A lot of time and effort has gone into making our service areas the stop of choice for people travelling with children and to win a Tommy's award is proof that we really are making it better for our family customers."
