TROWBRIDGE Cricket Youth are desperately searching for players at under 11s and under 13s age groups.
Following a less than successful season in 2003, the club is fighting hard to put things back on track for the 2004 season.
Both teams are entered into the Bath and District Youth Cricket Leagues, but with the season only three weeks away, do not have enough players to fulfil a team at either age group.
Alistair Goddard, director of coaching at Trowbridge, said: "If we do not get enough players, we may be forced to withdraw either team from the league."
The first of the weekly coaching sessions will be held on Thursday April 22 for the under 11s and Friday April 23 for the under 13s team, both held at Trowbridge Cricket Club from 6pm to 8pm.
Said Goddard: "While we are short of numbers at present it is our intention to limit total numbers to 18 children per age group, so I am asking that parents who would like your child to attend the sessions please to let me know to ensure that there are enough coaches to attend the session."
Goddard is contactable on 07890 991792 before 7pm each day.
