THE UK's first and only pride of white lions is making its debut this season at the West Midland Safari and Leisure Park.

The four lions were brought over from Africa late last year.

Now out of quarantine, Mubuto, Natasha, Johanne and Maryn, are kept in a separate reserve from the 20 lions already at the park near Bewdley, Worcestershire.

Other attractions include the sea lion theatre, the reptile house and a drive-through safari adventure. The Discovery Zone houses some of the world's creepiest creepy crawlies as well as touch-screen technology taking youngsters to a world of animated movies and quizzes.

Children will love the animal encounters, where they get the chance to take a closer look at some of the park's residents. There's also an amusement area, with its rides and gift shops.

The park is open seven days a week until October 31 from 10am. Last admission varies between 4 and 5pm. Admission prices are £7.25 per person, with a ticket for a return visit thrown in. Under fours are admitted free. It can be found on the A456 between Bewdley and Kidderminster. Call 01299 402114 or visit www.wmsp.co.uk for more information.
