In this day and age when the youth of our community make the headlines for all the wrong reasons how refreshing it was to witness the young lads of Trowbridge representing their home town on the football field with pride and honour, and once again helping their town reach the final of the Wilts Senior Cup for the second year running.
What made this victory all the more pleasing was the pure football and sporting conduct shown by the young guns of Trowbridge in the way they achieved victory, playing the game in the spirit it is intended.
Together with a couple of more senior heads Neil Kirkpatrick and his management team have given us a team for all the town to be proud of.
The football team of Trowbridge represented and managed by the people of Trowbridge are doing their town proud. Let's hope the town of Trowbridge can soon help reward their efforts with the playing surface and facilities they deserve so that all the efforts of the last five years are not lost forever
