It's crunch time for the two leading sides in the Wilts Premier Division when they clash at the Crosslink Centre tomorrow, writes RAY BURROUGHS.

Leaders AFC Stratton take on second-in-the-table Trowbridge Town and it will no doubt be the highlight of the Wiltshire League programme.

It's a must-win game for the home side, who lead the table by seven points, but visitors Trowbridge still have games in hand and they defeated Corsham 1-0 last night with a late disputed penalty at the Southbank ground.

Stratton boss Stef Kuczynski said: "It should be a great game. Trowbridge will be bringing their usual 150 or so travelling fans so it would be brilliant if a few locals turned up to cheer us on at the Crosslink Centre.

"We have got it all to do a draw is no good. Make no mistake, we will be going flat out for victory. All the lads are up for it.

"Team-wise there is a doubt about Robbie Broadbanks who has scored 19 goals from midfield this season."

Trowbridge manager Neil Kirkpatrick said: "It's a big game for us. At this stage I don't know what sort of a side we will have out, we have picked up a few injuries over the last couple of weeks.

"The pressure will be on them, they have got to beat us, but we will be happy with a draw. We will shuffle the pack on the day and have a good go."

It's also a big day for junior clubs who will be contesting the semi-finals of the Fountain Trophies Junior Cup.

In-form Ferndale Rodbourne play New College on the back of a 3-0 win over Aldbourne Reserves last night. The goals came from Terry Brown (2) and Robert Griffin.

Ferndale lost out in the semi-finals of the Wilts Junior Cup so they will be looking to put that behind them.

New College had a disastrous result last weekend, losing 3-1 to Lower Stratton and losing all hope of the Division Two title.

However, they will be out to make amends for the slip and could give the Division One side a good run for their money.

In the other semi, Wanborough United take on Blunsdon.

Trowbridge Reserves, after a 1-0 midweek win over second-placed Bromham, could wrap up the Junior Division One title with three points against Marlborough Town Reserves.

Swindon Asians must secure a point against Chiseldon Castrol to give them a chance of pipping Trax in the last game of the season in Junior Division Two.

Elsewhere last night, Stratton Reserves came from behind to beat Westside 5-2 with goals from Les Smith (2), Mark Smith (2) and Steve Stewart. John Webb's brace had put Westside ahead.
