CHIPPENHAM under 12s squad will be taking all 35 members on a short to Wales this weekend.
They will be staying at the Morfa Bay Activity Centre near Tenby and while there, can expect to enjoy an assault course, body boarding and beach rugby.
Two matches of 15-a-side junior rugby have been arranged, one against Narberth and the other against Whitland.
The squad have spent several months fundraising and the final total raised was £6,500.
The fundraising has included the team packing customers' shopping at Somerfield, sponsored cycle rides around the Castle Combe racing circuit and marshalling cars at a car boot sale.
They also received a donation from Safeway and Sainsbury's in Chippenham.
The team has also gained a set of shirts courtesy of sponsorship of Morris and Neal, Carpentry and a set of drill tops have been sponsored by Rota-Cal Limited.
As the 2004/05 season sees the squad move up into the junior playing section, TDG Limited are to provide the players with club blazers.
