THE Sue Ryder charity shop has re-opened in Cricklade High Street. The refurbished shop at 98 High Street will again sell clothes and bric-a-brac.
Shop manager Sally Rose is hoping to welcome back past customers and volunteers, as well as attract new people to support the shop.
"The new shop will be better than ever before, with its smart new look to match the quality of the stock we will be selling," she said.
Profits will support the specialist work of Sue Ryder Care's 18 care centres around the country.
They provide specialist palliative and neurological care for people with a range of conditions including cancer, MS, Hunting-ton's disease, motor neurone disease and brain injuries.
Sally added: "It is very rewarding to know our work here in the shops helps to make a real difference to the lives of so many people."
Sally is now looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of the shop's work.
Anyone wishing to know more about volunteering in the Cricklade Shop can contact her on 01793 759016 or drop in to the shop at any time for an informal chat.
