The world will be going Tai Chi crazy on Saturday and Swindon will be no exception.
The Town Gardens, in Old Town, will host one of numerous events to mark World Tai Chi Day. Demonstrations will be held from 2pm to 3pm.
The celebration will include demonstrations of various methods of the oriental discipline which claims to promote fitness and well-being.
There will be a free Tai Chi taster session for interested participants and a special programme for arthritis sufferers devised by doctors and experts of the Sun style Tai Chi will also be on show. This has been medically proven to aid arthritic conditions.
Graham Pritchard, who is qualified in Tai Chi for arthritis and will be present at the event, said: "The Town Gardens is a lovely venue and we hope that many people will turn up to take part and watch."
