Ref. 30027-48ADI VIVEASH has got his football 'appetite' back and he is hungry to help his hometown club across the promotion finishing line in the coming weeks.
The experienced defender made his first Town appearance for almost six months at Wycombe on Saturday and followed that up with a run-out against Chippenham Town in last night's Wiltshire Premier Shield final defeat.
With one 'final' now under his belt, the Swindonian is anxious to make it two by the end of the campaign, in the rather more glamorous surroundings of the Millennium Stadium
Viveash won plaudits from players and supporters during a recent loan spell at Third Division Kidderminister, and Town could yet reap the rewards of that.
He said: "I feel match fit and my loan spell at Kidderminster Harriers was very enjoyable.
"It gives you that appetite back again as it's disappointing when you don't play for a long time.
"I've got another taste of it now and if I'm needed in the next few weeks then I'm ready.
"I feel I have got something to offer, either through playing or by passing on my experience to the rest of the lads.
"It was a nice surprise to get on at Wycombe on Saturday as it had been a long time. Even though I was only on for seven or eight minutes I could see that the confidence is back and that the lads are playing at the top of their form.
"Whatever happens, it has been a disappointing season for me personally but it's not about that now, it's about the team getting success.
"They've hit form at the right time and things are looking up."
Viveash was one of several Town players who yesterday began making preparations for Sunday's PFA awards dinner in London.
Around 18 members of the squad will be present as professionals from all four divisions gather for the prestigious ceremony.
It is a black tie event and Town's players, who were measured up after yesterday's training, have been kitted out for the occasion by Faringdon Road-based business, Garry Andrew.
